Mieps Fontein Prijs 2025 – Oogfonds
Since 2022 the Stichting Oogfonds annually awards the Mieps Fontein Prijs, to stimulate young reseacher at the start of their scientific careers.
On October 16th € 50.000 was rewarded to Wenting You of Maastricht UMC, for her glaucoma research.
Céline Koster, researcher in the Ophthalmogenetics group in the Amsterdam UMC was nominated for her research on the development of cell-specific gene therapy for LRAT-associated retinitis pigmentosa and received the audience price of € 15.000 for the best pitch
