Ophthalmogenetics 
The team of the Ophthalmogenetics section has a background in various disciplines, such as genetics, vision research and molecular and cellular biology. The team is embedded in the department of Human Genetics (dr. Astrid Plomp, dr. Ralph Florijn). Ophthalmology (Prof dr. Camiel Boon, dr. Sarah Janssen) and the Emma Center for Personalized Medicine (Prof dr. Clara van Karnebeek, Prof dr. Mieke van Haelst).
To enable therapeutic technologies, we closely collaborate with local, national and international partners.
